Ahoy matey!

Would ye like some writin’ prompts fer ye lads and lasses?

I have some fer ye today. They’ll get ye band ‘o wee ones writin’ like a pirate in no time.

In fact, they’ll turn ye landlubbers into a jolly band ‘o pirates. Arr!

But that be all the shoutin’ I’ll do fer now. When yer ready, here be the pirate writing prompts.

5 Fun Pirate Writing Prompts

  1. Write a silly story about a pirate who can’t stop singing.
  2. Write a funny story about a pirate who is afraid of cockroaches.
  3. Write a pirate story using at least 5 of the following words: Arr, barrel, crow’s nest, gangplank, hook, island, parrot, scallywag, treasure, Land ho!
  4. Write a pirate story from the perspective of a parrot.
  5. Pretend you’re a pirate and you’ve just buried your treasure. Draw a map and write down detailed instructions on how to find it again.
