ROAR!
Kids love dinosaurs, don’t they?
They especially enjoy the carnivorous dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, and Deinonychus.
Deinonychus.
I still have fond memories of listening to a song about that dinosaur with my children when they were young. It’s on the Wee Sing Dinosaurs CD. (paid link) They used to listen to that music over and over again. I think I used to have the songs memorized.
Anyway, if your kids enjoy dinosaurs, they’re going to love the word search I have posted for today. It’s all about carnivorous dinosaurs and it includes the following dinos.
Achillobator
Albertosaurus
Allosaurus
Carnotaurus
Ceratosaurus
Coelophysis
Deinonychus
Dilophosaurus
Dromaeosaurus
Gigantosaurus
Irritator
Megalosaurus
Megaraptor
Rugops
Spinosaurus
Suchomimus
Troodon
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Velociraptor
Utahraptor
This is by no means a comprehensive list of carnivorous dinosaurs, but this is all I could fit into the word search without making overwhelming for kids. I tried to pick out the most common dinosaurs or the ones with the most interesting names like Achillobator and Irritator.
You are free to print this word search and use it for home, homeschool, classroom, and small group use. (Commercial use is not allowed.)
