St. Patrick was amazing, wasn’t he?
He was captured by pirates as a teen. He was forced to work as a slave in Ireland for 6 years. After he escaped, he became a priest, and later, a bishop. He then went back to Ireland to spread the Gospel to those who had enslaved him.
Incredible.
In Ireland, he taught the people about the Trinity with a simple shamrock. He was protected from an ambush by God while singing the hymn now known as St. Patrick’s Breastplate. And he converted the daughters of the king of Ireland to Christianity with a little speech.
You can see part of that speech in today’s free sample.
(I know it’s not St. Patrick’s Day, but, hey, Patrick’s speech works 24/7/365.)
You can see the rest of the speech in the complete product, The Teachings of St. Patrick Copywork. This ebook has the text in eight different handwriting formats, plus pictures to color, recommended music to listen to, and project ideas. It’s a handy tool for teaching your children the Catechism.
