They’re such a fun way for learners of all ages to practice problem-solving skills.
I also love butterflies.
While they may not help you with problem-solving, they do encourage you to notice the beauty in the natural world around you.
I have a freebie for you today that has both butterflies and puzzles (a match made in heaven).
It’s a set of homonym butterfly puzzles. With these puzzles, your child can practice matching homonyms to their definitions. Homonyms are words that are spelled the same AND sound the same as another word but have a different meaning. “Right” and “row” are some examples of homonyms.
These puzzles are taken from a product I created a while ago called Homonym Butterfly Puzzles. It has 24 homonym puzzles, a homonym poster, labels, answer keys, and more. It can be used to make language arts learning trays for your kids.
