Don’t you love Eric Carle books?
I do.
His artwork is amazing!
He can somehow create the most delightful textures from tissue paper and paint. And his collages are so colorful and appealing!
This incredible artist has illustrated more than 70 books, some of which he also authored.
What an accomplishment!
I think that he and his books are an inspiration for children with artistic talents.
In fact, at the end of this post, I’ll share with you a way that your child can create art like Eric Carle does.
But first, let me share with you a list of Eric Carle books.

Now let me share with you a way that your kids create artwork like Eric Carle.
Klutz published a book by Eric Carle called You Can Make a Collage (it’s in the list). It has a collection of printed tissue that your kids can use to make their own collages. I got it for my kids when they were young and they loved the papers! I’m sure your kids will too. 🙂
