Putting items or images in order from smallest to largest and vice versa is a valuable skill for preschoolers to have. They should be able to recognize the difference in size between items and know terms like “little/small, medium-sized, big/large, smallest, and biggest.”
Hands-on activities are one fun way to teach this concept of size. For that reason, I have created a free printable for you to use with your preschooler. It’s a Raggedy Ann size ordering activity that has three sets of cards for your child to practice with. Each set has one of three characters from the Raggedy Ann Stories by Johnny Gruelle.
This printable is suitable for just about any homeschool method including Montessori, traditional, and ecelctic among others. It is free for family, homeschool, co-op, and classroom use.
By the way, if you like this free printable, you’ll find more like it in my Raggedy Ann Preschool Activity Pack. It is chock full of hands-on activities that can be used over and over again. Not only is size ordering covered in this set, but also sequencing, colors, patterns, counting, and many other important preschool concepts.
